Dental care for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) poses challenges for professionals and students due to the behavioral, communicational, and sensory characteristics of these patients. Academic training in Dentistry, however, still presents gaps in preparing students for this specific population. Thus, this study presents as a technical product the development of a guidebook aimed at Dentistry students, with practical and scientific guidelines for the clinical management of pediatric patients with ASD. The guidebook was structured based on updated literature review and organized into thematic sections: understanding ASD, common challenges in dental care, preparation of the environment and team, behavioral strategies, clinical adaptations, oral hygiene at home, and reports of successful cases. The material seeks to combine scientific knowledge with accessible language, providing a support tool for academic training and encouraging inclusive practices in Dentistry. It is expected that the guidebook will contribute to greater confidence of students in patient care and to building more humanized and effective approaches for the autistic population.
