TRANSTORNO BIPOLAR: DIRETRIZES DIAGNÓSTICAS E CRITÉRIOS CLÍNICOS PARA AVALIAÇÃO E DIFERENCIAÇÃO DE EPISÓDIOS

Este estudo teve como objetivo identificar os principais parâmetros clínicos utilizados no diagnóstico da polineuropatia diabética e os critérios de avaliação neurológica mais recorrentes na literatura. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, conduzida conforme etapas sistematizadas e orientada pelo PRISMA, com busca realizada em janeiro de 2026 nas bases MEDLINE e LILACS. Foram incluídos estudos completos e de livre acesso relacionados aos critérios clínico-neurológicos empregados na identificação da neuropatia periférica diabética. Os resultados mostraram que o diagnóstico se sustenta principalmente na combinação de sintomas neuropáticos, como dor, queimação, parestesias e dormência, com sinais ao exame neurológico, especialmente perda sensitiva e redução de reflexos. Entre os critérios mais utilizados, destacaram-se o Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument, o Neuropathy Disability Score, os escores de sintomas e os testes de sensibilidade tátil e vibratória, além de métodos sudomotores complementares. Conclui-se que a padronização desses parâmetros favorece a triagem precoce, fortalece a avaliação na atenção primária e contribui para prevenir ulcerações, amputações e piora da qualidade de vida.
